What is Arimidex?

Arimidex is an anti-estrogen Aromatase Inhibitor (AI). It’s generic name is Anastrozole, but the Arimidex brand is by far the most commonly and widely used. It is very popular among anabolic steroid users to address estrogenic side effects we experience with the use of many anabolic steroids. For this purpose, Arimidex is almost always recommended for use in a steroid cycle.

By blocking the aromatase enzyme, Arimidex directly lowers the levels of estrogen circulating in the body. It serves a great purpose for users of anabolic steroids as estrogen is the enemy of steroid use and is responsible for the side effects we all want to avoid.

As an aromatase inhibitor, Arimidex is considered the most effective choice for combating the estrogenic side effects of aromatizing steroid use like gynecomastia, water retention and the associated high blood pressure that can come with excess water retention.

Recommend Dosage:

• Recommended Male Dosage: 0.5-1mg every other day
• Cycle length: This is an optional aromatase inhibitor to be taken during your steroid cycle to combat high estrogen levels. Cycle length depends on the cycle you are taking. Using Arimidex during a steroid cycle is highly recommended if you are using an aromatising steroid.
• Recommended Female Dosage: Increased estrogen levels is not a concern for female steroid users as it is for males. It is not recommended to be taken by females.
